Notice Regarding Jeongmin’s Military Service Classification
Hello, this is THELINE Entertainment.
We would like to provide an update regarding the military service classification of our artist, Jeongmin.
After acquiring Korean nationality, Jeongmin underwent the required military service examination. Following the initial classification, relevant documents were reviewed and a re-evaluation process was completed. As a result, in May 2026, he received a final Grade 5 classification as a wartime labor service subject.
This classification was made based on a genetic condition and his overall health status. Accordingly, Oh Jeongmin is not subject to active-duty enlistment or social service personnel summons.
However, as the specific diagnosis and detailed medical information concern the artist’s privacy and personal health information, we ask for your understanding that these details cannot be disclosed.
We wished to provide accurate information after all military-related procedures had been completed and the facts had been fully confirmed. We will continue to communicate carefully and responsibly regarding important matters related to our artists.
